Chris Straughn, M.D., F.A.A.P.
 Dr. Straughn enjoys caring for infants, children and adolescents in his practice of pediatric medicine.
Dr. Straughn completed his Pediatric Internship and Residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He fulfilled an additional year of training as Chief Resident of Pediatrics at Baylor. He attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine and undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University. He lives in Lakewood with his wife Leigh and his four sons:Walt, twins Sam and Harry, and Callum. He enjoys golf, cooking, gardening, hiking, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Straughn is board certified as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and he is a member of the Texas Pediatric Society. He has been in practice with Forest Lane Pediatrics since 2003.
Dr. Straughn is currently the Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Medical City Children's Hospital at Medical City Dallas. He was selected by D Magazine as one of the Best Pediatricians in Dallas for 2011.
