It is Restaurant Week in Dallas -- this is an annual event where most of the best restaurants in Dallas raise money for the North Texas Food Bank. It is a great excuse to go to a nice restaurant and support a worthy cause.
We went to Hector's on Henderson last night -- it was fantastic! Highlights included garlic soup, lamb chop lollipops, Hector's Stack (hash browns, sirloin steak, a fried egg, and jalapeno Hollandaise sauce - wow!), and banana cream moon pie. Better eat right for the rest of the week to make up for that one!
