On Tuesday, April 28 at 5:30 pm, I will be giving a lecture in the Dallas office discussing a variety of vaccine issues. I will be focusing on the safety and effectiveness of the current vaccine schedule, and I will address many of the common myths and misconceptions about vaccines and vaccine safety. The two punchlines:
1. Vaccine-preventable illnesses are serious diseases that can be deadly without universal vaccine coverage in the community.
2. Thankfully, we have a lot of reassuring safety data thoroughly debunking any proposed links between vaccines and autism or other problems.
All parents, friends, and family are welcome to attend. Please refrain from bringing young children, though. Please also RSVP at 972-284-7770 or via e-mail, as seating may be limited. If you have any specific questions that you would like me to answer, please feel free to e-mail via this website so I can be sure to address it. The talk should last about 45 minutes, with plenty of time for questions at the end.
