Dr. Lynda Tang joined Forest Lane Pediatrics in 2017, and she sees patients in both the Dallas and Plano office. She is proud to have graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Christian University with a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Chemistry. Dr. Tang earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine and then completed a pediatric residency at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston.

Dr. Tang enjoys interacting with children of all ages and promoting healthy habits that will last into adulthood. Throughout her training, she has had a variety of local and global experiences in the world of pediatrics. As part of a quality improvement project, she worked on a pilot project to facilitate healthy exercise habits in obese children in Houston. Additionally, she created healthy eating handouts for children in the Navajo community at a reservation in Shiprock, New Mexico. She has also had the honor of taking care of children in a pediatric hospital and clinic in Swaziland in 2014.

As your child’s pediatrician, Dr. Tang will guide you and your child through the challenges of childhood and adolescence. She feels especially privileged to work with first time parents to help them successfully navigate parenthood. She understands that your time is valuable and is committed to providing quality patient care that is thorough and yet efficient.

Dr. Tang resides in Dallas with her husband Edward and two dogs. She is a self-proclaimed foodie, traveler, and amateur photography. She speaks Vietnamese fluently and understands conversational Spanish. She and her husband are both college football fans and enjoy cheering on their alma mater. Go Frogs!
